The sixth Istria300 on Saturday, 3 October brought sunshine, closed roads and more than 3,700 riders to Poreč. Alban Lakata won the 300 km by just 26 seconds, and three VICC riders travelled down together in a VW bus. Andreas Fida-Taumer and Alexander Gheorghiu tackled the 209 km and Susanne Auer the 135 km. Strong wind, a rain shower and a crash in Lachsfeld made the second VICCRD Club Championships in Simonsfeld a race to remember. After three hard laps, Roman Nagiller beat last year’s champion Philip Sanjath in a thrilling two man sprint. After 3 days, 14 hours and 28 minutes, long serving VICCRD member Harald Loidl rolled back into St. Georgen im Attergau in third place at the Race Around Austria 1500. Around 1,500 kilometres, roughly 17,500 metres of climbing and barely any sleep, backed by a crew of six friends, family and club mates who paced, navigated, fixed and joked him through day and night. The fifth and final VICC Race Day of 2026 rolled onto the Cyclodrom on the Donauinsel on Sunday, 13 September and it was the biggest of the year. This one doubled as the Wiener Landesmeisterschaft Kriterium (Vienna State Championship), so new champions were crowned across the age groups, while the season-long Ströck Donauinselcup was decided on the very same day. Six races filled the programme, from balance-bike beginners to a flat-out elite men's bunch. Here's how the finale

From Melanie Brunhofer's top-five sprint in Salzburg and Jacqueline's runner-up ride on the Sophienalpen, to Jennifer Jantschgi's gutsy 8th on her gravel debut at the National Championships, the Bikeleasing VERGE VICC women built toward a dramatic finale in Königswiesen — where they were the best team of the day, put Luzie Meister on the podium, and reclaimed 3rd overall from Cookina Graz.
