GROUP RIDES IN VIENNA

VICC Sunday Ride

Community rides:

  • Every Sunday at 10:00 (Sep-May) / 09:00 (Jun-Aug)

  • Meeting at the Yellow Bridge (Steinitzsteg).

  • There are (at least) two options for groups.

    • One group is slightly faster and follows the 70km route.

    • The other group is slightly slower and follows the 40km route.

RACING

Road bike racing in Vienna and Austria is split into two main types; licenced and non-licenced racing. As the names suggest, the key difference is that you need a UCI licence to take part in the licenced races, or a Cycling Austria Membership Card (formerly "Bike Card").
