These FAQs will give general answers, but please check each event for the most accurate and up to date information such as the number of laps for each category of rider.

WHERE DO THE RACE DAYS HAPPEN?

On the Donauinsel at the Cyclodrom

HOW CAN I REGISTER FOR THE RACE DAYS?

Registration is all done online here. The registration will be open a few weeks before each event takes place.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO TAKE PART?

The prices vary depending on your category and over time, but they are in the region of 15 Euros for licensed riders and 18 Euros for Masters and Bike Card riders. Please see the registration pages for exact figures.

DO I NEED TO BE IN A CLUB TO TAKE PART?

No, you can take part as an individual but you will need to have an OeRV Bike Card or UCI Licence e.g. from another national cycling body.

DO I NEED TO HAVE A RACE LICENCE TO TAKE PART?

No, you can also take part with an OeRV Bike Card.

WHAT CATEGORIES OF RACE ARE THERE?

Please check the registration page of each event, as the categories available can be different per race day depending on a number of factors. 

Race categories can be available covering ages U11 upwards, female, male, masters and also the "Cyclodrom zum Kennenlernen" for people new to racing.

WHAT FORMAT ARE THE RACES?

Generally the races are in Criterium format. For more details on the points system please see the info page.

HOW LONG ARE THE RACES?

Please see the specific registration page for the length of each race, as this varies depending on the category. Criteriums are generally shorter races so each will be in the region of 30-60 minutes, as a very rough guide.

WHERE CAN I FIND THE RESULTS?

Results will be published on this site and the OeRV site within  a few days of the race. Historic results are also available here.

CAN I WATCH THE RACES?

Yes, please! We welcome all spectators (assuming covid regulations allow).
